Letter from Erline to LeGrand, Friday noon (possibly October 1940?)
I'm ashamed for not writing sooner. I have been working overtime and just busy.
I have just 5 minutes to write. It is noon and I am at post office. We have short lunch hour.
Have you your call yet? Please come and see me again as soon as you can.
You are always welcome. I wish I could have been in conference when you were there.
I'm sure they like you very much.
I paid my tithing last nite. The bishop said he thought you were a nice looking fellow.
Time to go to work. 8 min to walk from here and I haven't eaten yet.
But I must not slight you too much.
Good day Sweetheart.
Faithfully, forever yours
