May 19, 1990 was a big day for Wes. He received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison:

1990 was also the year that Walter was called to be the first president of the Poland Warsaw misssion. Here are Walter and his family at the Church Administration Building in Salt Lake City:
